Product Manager- Life Science
In Vitro Technologies is a scientific & medical distribution company, who specialises in the sales, marketing and support of products throughout Australia and New Zealand.
We are seeking to appoint a full time Product Manager to join our National Scientific Team. They will be responsible for a range of quality consumable products directed at a market segment of the life science industry.
The main tasks of this role include:
- Increasing brand equity & market share in the Australian market
- Developing skills of Territory Managers through technical support and training
- Developing, initiating & executing marketing plans
- Liaise with relevant vendors
- Provide quarterly reports to vendors
- Assist in determining appropriate inventory levels, supply chain and profitability.
The desired applicant will have a Bachelor of Science Degree, must have at least 2 years sales experience in the Scientific Market with a track history of success in market penetration and competent computer skills (in particular Microsoft Excel). Critical characteristics are self-motivation, energy and enthusiasm to succeed. A team player with great communication and influencing skills will win this role.
